At Safe Food Alliance, we understand that building a food safety program is risky. One recall has the potential to financially devastate a company, with the average costing 10 million dollars. Our consultants take care of the heavy lifting to avoid these risks, so you don’t have to.

You may be asking yourself why you would need a consultant when you have everything covered internally? A consultant is an industry expert who can provide outside advice on your food safety plan, help make recommendations specifically for your facility, and review documents or programs to help guarantee conformity. Our consultants at Safe Food Alliance can provide a fresh set of eyes on your program and a new perspective to help guide you on your path to producing safe food.

As the United States begins to open back up, we understand that not all food facilities may be welcoming guests into the plant. We offer virtual consultations to make this process as seamless as possible. This consultation will take place on Zoom, and you will have access to your consultant if you have additional questions.

Our consultants are qualified, food safety experts with first-hand food industry experience. The goal is to provide you with the food safety plan guidance you need with as little disruption to ongoing operations as possible.

When consulting, we work closely with your team to prepare documents, procedures, and quality systems that ensure compliance with food safety regulations and customer requirements. In the process, we assist you in streamlining existing procedures, conforming to scheme standard requirements, and developing new systems as needed.

Once you have booked your virtual consultation, our team will assign the best consultant based on the scope of work provided. We then set up a Zoom meeting for the allotted consultation time on the date you reserved, and the administrator sends you the meeting invite and a secure link to share your files before the consultation. For the consultation, you can invite as many employees as you'd like so you can achieve your goals of the service. We will be available before and after the consultation to answer all questions you may have.

  1. Our team will act as a moderator for internal decision-making
  2. Pre and Post Communication with a consultant to discuss the scope of service and document review
  3. One on one time to thoroughly give your facility the attention needed
  4. Either 4 hours or a full day of consultant time
  5. Additional resources, depending on the scope of service
