However you refer to your program, every company needs to be prepared for those unanticipated incidents that could have an impact on food safety, company reputation, and the bottom line. This program will help prepare your company’s management for whatever the future may hold. We will share some pointers to help improve your programs so they meet FSMA requirements, the requirements of your food safety certifications (GFSI, HACCP, etc.), and customer expectations. This training also meets the SQF requirement in section 22.214.171.124ii.
The importance of a sound environmental monitoring plan cannot be overstated. It’s a required verification program for GFSI programs such as BRC, SQF, and IFS; it’s a fundamental part of your HACCP plan’s prerequisite programs; and in addition the final FSMA rules released by the FDA include new requirements relating to the process. This program is intended to be part of an effective employee training program which keeps employees up to date on the latest techniques and helps ensure your company meets these evolving regulatory and customer requirements.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) ensure that food products are manufactured, packaged, and stored in a sanitary manner. When formally documented and implemented, GMP’s are an example of a prerequisite program. In this training, you will learn how to use and implement the Standard requirements: personnel practices, plant and grounds, sanitary operations, sanitary facilities, equipment and utensils design, processes and controls: general, processes and controls: manufacturing, and warehouse and distribution.
This program offers basic audit training for designated persons who are responsible for verifying the effectiveness of the food safety system. This training course is suited to all management systems (including GSFI standards- BRC, SQF, Global GAP). This training provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to perform internal audits on food safety management systems (FSMS) and to contribute to their continual improvement. If you do not have a designated Internal Auditor at your facility and need a third-party assessment, Safe Food Alliance can come to your facility and provide a GAP analysis of the current scheme you will be audited on.
