Safe Food Alliance laboratories are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation – A2LA.
ISO accreditation ensures that the laboratory meets stringent technical requirements by virtue of routine audits by A2LA, participates in proficiency testing programs, and proves competencies through vertical and horizontal traceability check of documentation. In addition, our laboratories are certified by USDA for the PEC program and certified by California State Regional Water Quality Control Board for ELAP.
Our laboratories are open year round. We implement official methodologies of analysis such as AOAC, USDA, FDA, AOCS, and other approved published methods. Equipment and Testing Capabilities
Our laboratories are equipped with instruments provided by the leading manufactures. Some of our instruments in the Chemistry lab include High Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC), Gas Chromatographs (GC), Gas Chromatographs with Mass Spectrometers (GC/MS), and Liquid Chromatograph with tandem mass spectrometers (LC/MS/MS) for all of your analytical testing needs.
Our Microbiological testing equipment includes MiniOpticon PCR, CFX96, RAPID LT Idaho PCR, and the VIDAS for detecting pathogens. We also have the PATHATRIX™ that concentrates and isolates the target pathogens from a wide range of food and environmental sample matrices for testing by PCR and immunoassay.
