Pesticides are being used today to control a variety of insects, weeds and plant diseases. Some of these same pesticides can act as toxins to plants, animals and humans when found in sufficient concentrations as residues. Residues can be found in plant materials, water, soil, meat and dairy products.
Safe Food Alliance is a certified laboratory in the the California State Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) specializing in the analysis and testing of many different commodities. Our expertise includes the analysis of dried fruit, tree nuts, fresh and processed fruits, vegetables, spices, juice and juice concentrates.

Safe Food Alliance has a comprehensive, full-service chemistry department that has ISO/IEC accreditation and is USDA and ELAP certified. Safe Food Alliance participates in third-party proficiency testing programs to verify methods.
Our Chemistry Laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art instruments such as High Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC), Gas Chromatographs (GC), and Gas Chromatographs with Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) for all of your analytical testing needs.
The newest addition to our chemistry department includes Liquid Chromatography tandem Mass Spectrometers (LC/MS/MS) that provides lower detection limits and expanded analytical capabilities
