The FDA has announced their new tool, the Food Safety Plan Builder, is now ready for use. The Food Safety Plan Builder is a new software tool designed to help owners and operators of food facilities create a food safety plan. Businesses can download the Food Safety Plan Builder from the FDA’s website for free and it will guide them step-by-step through the creation of a food safety plan, which is required by the Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Human Food rule under the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act.
