The Food Defense Fundamentals course is designed to help participants understand and implement strategies to protect the food supply from intentional contamination and other security threats. This course covers the principles of food defense, including vulnerability assessments, mitigation strategies, and the development of a food defense plan that complies with regulatory requirements, such as the FDA’s Intentional Adulteration Rule under FSMA. Participants will gain practical insights into how to secure their facilities, train employees, and respond effectively to potential food defense incidents, ensuring the safety and integrity of their products.

Who Should Attend

Employees who already possess a general knowledge and understanding of food safety and are looking for more information specific to the subject of food defense and FSMA’s Intentional Adulteration Rule.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for public training must be made at least 10 business days before the event for a full refund. Requests for refunds 10 business days or less before the training will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds (or credit transfer) will be issued 5 business days or less before the training.
