SQF Overview

Description

This 4 hour course will give you an understanding of GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), SQF, and steps to certification including review of prerequisite programs and HACCP based programs. The course will review systems elements such as management commitment and review, compliant management, crisis management, specification and product development, third party services, food legislation, GMPs, food safety plans, risk assessment, environmental monitoring, verification, validation, corrective actions, internal audits, traceability/recall, food defense, and food fraud, and allergen management.
